Have you tried going to your nearest emergency room? Why would you accept $500 for a injury like that involving a car accident? That isn't merely enough to even get you a shot. Explain your situation to the attending physician and he/she will probably get you started on physical therapy if needed, or something of the sort.

Whose offering you $500? Your auto ins co? $500 is more than enough to see a Dr who can advise you as to what exercises to do to relieve the pain. See how it goes. If you need additional treatment, appeal the ins. co. decision to limit your comp to $500.

I would go an get some advice from an attorney as you will be entitled to legal compensation for the pain and suffering as well.

it happens when you get in accidents,,,,it doesnt always hurt at 1st but the next day you can feel some pain,,,,give it a few days and see if it goes away

you don,t have to settle for $500.00,they probably did that cause they had no insurance....you need to make a police report and go to the doctor
