ok ok ok i have dsl and sent a concerned e-mail bout an emp to ralphs k, is there any way they can trace it to where it came from? now i turn it off and on which i think changes the IP Address can they still trace it?

the reason i ask is cuz i sent it a couple of days ago and then the "PIC" came 2 me 2day and said o you know u can come to me at any time and talk to me etc. and was thinking if he knew i didn't admit to it but you know.

If he came to you then i believe so buddy, he won't tell you but they can probably trace anything and they prob think its you but won't come out and tell you unless you admit to it. especially if it is about an employee yep, they want you to come out and say it but, just go along with you didn't send it.

There are a few different types of IP addresses...one is from your internet service provider...one can be on the browser you use..and then the permanent one is on your pc itself. You can trace IP addresses quite easily.

They can look at the routing and see where it came from, but they won't be able to narrow it down to who it came from. To do that they would have to have a warrant to get it from your ISP and even then your ISP may not give it to them.
But, unless it regards a murder or something heinous I wouldn't worry abou it.
