I had that problem once myself, but it was after I had packed it all in a backpack on a long drive to visit family for Thanksgiving, and the buttons were being pressed all the time. After I got it all home, the controllers would be mysteriously on without the system being on, or any buttons being pressed. They all quickly drained their batteries, and after putting in new batteries, it has never happened again.
If you take out the batteries for a while, replace them, and re-sync them with the systyem, and it doesn't fix the problem, then I highly recommend calling Nintendo's product support line. I personally had a good experience with them. An update froze up the system and they helped me fix it quickly. A friend's Wii came out of the box broken, and Nintendo delivered a replacement with 2nd day air.

well apparently you controller has a bug (just about every system that has ever come out has had a bug when it first came out) id say either take it to a video game store and see if they can fix it or go buy a new one or do what mag said
