Because some women are attracted to gay men. I guess they think it is cool if they can turn them straight. If you turn a gay man straight it means you're the ultimate female right? I personally don't get it, I see gay men, as well gay, so probably not very interested in my female ***. This is obviously a really weird fantasy because they are not getting the fact that the man is well, GAY. Just try to ask her what kinds of guys she likes and when she tells you, say "me too." LOL.

Some women do feel that their main task in life is to change men ...basically straight men into acceptable mates
This also might be that she feels honored you shared you private life with her, that you two have a special bond that was enhanced by your admission to her......that you are a safe male to exchange your inner most thoughts cause your gay
The other thing is she does not believe you......from your shared past she saw another side of you, that she believes still exist in her mind.......she has not processed the changed yet

It may not be that she is all of a sudden attracted to you.... after you revealing your sexuality, she may now feel more comfortable around you, because your not a threat so to speak...I know that I am more 'open' around my gay male friends then I am my straight male friends.... Just a thought ;)
