He wasn't. He was arrested and committed suicide in prison, hanging himself with the sheets

Go to www.history.com and get the real up close and personal audio/visual of the Nuremburg Trials. Type in the search bar and go to the right and see the trials and click on to see and hear all the details. Fact site, there was no union it was tortured peoples, doing the work, slaves, no food, no water fit for an animal, no clothing in the cold, no shoes, and then they would kill them when they were too sick to work.

He was a Nazi labor leader responsible for the slave labor system used by the Nazis in WW II, he was charged and indicted for war crimes but never convicted. He committed suicide several days before the trial started.
