Since I don't know you or your friend, it is hard to say. Dreams can be interpreted in many different ways because subjects, places and things within a dream have different meanings for different people.

That said...my archetypal interpretation (assuming she was in the spot light) would be that your friend perhaps feels a lot of pressure from the people around her. She feels she needs to prove herself to them. Maybe she feels she can't be herself and must perform a role, or entertain the masses, make them proud.

But you, her best friend, were not in the audience because she does not feel this same pressure from you. She feels she can be herself with you--no show costume or glitzy make-up. You accept her for who she is unconditionally.

If you are still friends and that was a year ago, I wouldn't worry about it. It is okay...

Its a variation of the classic "fish-out-of-water" scenario, in which the dreamer experiences disorientation in what should be a familiar setting, but in which something is wrong or out of place.

Similar to the "going to school without pants on" dream, or the "failing English and won't graduate" dream, in that a needed element is missing and causing embarrassment or stress.

The dream may be nothing more than an exploration of what life would be like if her best friends were absent.

It may be a reflection of a recent feeling of having been ignored or not noticed in a time of stress.

It may be an expression of guilt at having not been availale to YOU when YOU were in need.

It may also just be random neurons firing while you sleep, signifying nothing.

It sounds to me like at that time in your friendship that your friend felt she couldn't count on you. Although perhaps on the surface at that time your friendship was fine, underneath, in the subconscious areas, there was something missing. Perhaps your friend was afraid to tell you something she was feeling at that time.

Dreams are the Universe's way of letting us know what truly is happening in our daily lives. We dream in symbols. The auditorium signified her whole life and of course, all of the people were the events of importance that have happened to your friend. Your not being there meant that she felt she couldn't fully count on you or trust you at that time.

Since then I hope you have spent some good time with your friend. I hope your relationship has deepened and I hope the trust between the both of you has grown.

Good luck, dear. The people and animal family we truly love in our life are like the finest jewels.

sometimes dreams are completely random, but i believe at the same they can let on to subcoscious feelings.
perhaps its means nothing negative towards your relationship, but rather, that she felt the need to reconnect with everybody else- people whom she knew little about; it is possible that, like a sibling, you weren't there because you are there for her in real life, and so she did not need you there.

it could mean she was mad at you over something or you weren't there for her at a time she needed you. also it could be kinda like a vision that something is gonna happen to you. I've had one of those vision type dreams before and that's kinda freaky because some of it accually happened!!!

i will honestly say dreams mean nothing when it comes to real life...

actually, dreams are the TOTAL opposite of real life. so in reality, this means youre the most important thing to her.

don't put too much thought into something mankind does when not thinking. catch my drift?

have a good one :-)

It prolly means she feels like you werent there for her when she needed you most, or you weren't there for her period. Could mean she cant depend on you in life....it's symbolic for something along those lines. Or it cound simply mean she fears losing you or fears you not being there.
