hopefully the rest of your application is more impressive. Can you call the college and tell them you are faxing another copy? Next time, print your essay and have a friend look it over.

Harvard???? Are you serious??? Dude, you're not doomed, you're so doomed!!!! Try in another college, Harvard looks for excellence, c'mon, we're talking about one of the best universities in the WORLD, and a mistake like that is fatal, I mean, anyone could make it, but fo a college application that's fatal, I'm sorry.
You saw that? You made the same mistake in your question "i forgot", get used to write it well, start from now, 'cause you might have problems with that if you continue to spell it like that, it's "I forgot", practice, and start writing it correctly.
Good luck

Well I would like to say that it will be all right, but it *is* Harvard, so they might not look well upon those errors. If you're already super smart and have a lot of things like volunteer experience, extracurricular activities, high standardised test scores and GPA, you should still get in, but if it's kind of a long shot anyway then that might be one of the deciding factors on your admission.

You also are terrible at spelling "capitalize". Just tell them you were trying to conserve energy by not using spellcheck.
Dude- Harvard is capitalized too. Yes, you are doomed- at least send a corrected version with a note saying "ha ha, it happens to the best of us, which I am definitely not" and then sign up at the community college.

Well, worrying won't help you any, just be sure to run any important document by a decent proofreader in the future. Try the library or one of it's internsf good, free help out there is amazing if you approach people properly. Best of luck.
