I am sorry for that.
I am lucky. I have a family of six, and we are very open and expressive. I hear "I love you" probably 100 times a day. In the last ten minutes, I have heard it five times from five people. Thanks for your question, because it makes me stop and realize how blessed I am.

About an hour ago from my boyfriend who is in the military, every time he tells me it means that much more. Plus, it's ok that you dont hear it much. If it's something that you hear constantly, it will eventually lose it's meaning and you wont be able to say you can count the times and remember exactly where you were and who said it. It makes hearing those three little words much more special.

I don't think that it is as important to say it as it is to SHOW it. Too many times my husband and daughters just SAY it and it becomes sooo routine... even though I do it too, and I tell them everyday, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day that I love them I do mean it but I don't even think about it when I say it and it just is a habit. I do want to hear it, but you have made me really THINK about it and I am going to try and show it more than just say it!

Love is the most basic human need there is. It is the hardest to find. What many call love is really lust. Lust takes but real love gives without thinking of what it can get in return.
My wife and I tell each other of our love often..but more important, we show it. Since we never know what tomorrow will bring, we need to let those we value know it...so we will never have to say..."if only I had known...."
There is one that loves us beyond all measure...

my family aren't the type of people to be all 7th heaven cheesy walk around and say "i love you" we don't do that. as for my girlfriend i have been dating her for 3 and half months and i haven't said it yet. but before her my i told my ex, so the last time i said it to someone was like 7 months ago. somewhere around there.

A couple hours ago. When my daughter left to go on her date. my son has been trying to get out of the habit of saying it when he leaves, It's such a habit for him it slips out sometimes. Like when he leaves work and says goodbye to his boss. and then continues with--I love you--lol, Poor guy. He is almost 22, and it just doesn't go over real good at work.

Sorry for your loss. Can't remember the last time someone spoke the actual words 'I love you' to me or when I told anyone else. But, hey everyone, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a long time. my Family does NOT believe you should say " I Love You " for then it would show the world you were human. and we can't have that now can we?
