does anyone on here really know the meaning of racism?

Question

people are quick to yell racism but do they really know what that means?

Is it right for minorities to use reverse racism on the majority?

or is it ok to over look reverse racism because of what our ancestors supposely did?

My family was brought here as slaves by the
English.....we're Irish and Scottish.
I don't think any of my family was

Racism is hate for anyone that is not of your color and country. Racism is prejudice in action. People hating people without any reason or motive.. Racism is destructive as Hate is destructive.
Racism is an emotion that is learned.. Children learn to hate from their parents and so on.
Yes, Sometimes minorities use Racism as an excuse for all the problems in their world or that is happening in the country.. The word Racism can be misused and has been used as a powerful weapon. But I believe the majority of People fight against racism, this blatant, destructive hate that has taken many lives and has caused many wars. Many good people from all sides and from every race, pray for Peace and want nothing to do with racism. I believe the majority of the Human Race is good and works for good and for Peace.

You have a very good point but lets be careful we aren/t slowly
returning to the ways of our ancesters. theres more than race.
Nationality.. Lanuage.In Canada the French a 30% minority get there own way because of bilingualism. They speak English because they're surounded by English. Canadians and Americans are less apt to speak a second language because they already speak the lanuage of the majority. French most in Quebec vote in a block which is why the parties cater to them. Apartide like south Africa was. The minority get all the privileges in the country.

Your use of "Reverse Racism" is a contradiction. Inorder to reverse something you have to imply that it was already going in the opposite direction.

So, is it ok to be racist? No.

However according to your question, Your claiming that there is no racism to reverse in the first place by stating "Supposedly did", making your entire comment invalid.

I know what it means. I think most people say things that are discriminate and BORDERLINE racist/sexist.

reverse racism hmmm..that's a toughie because let's face it COMPANIES DON'T PLAY RIGHT!
I believe in hiring people for merits but if companies really hire people for merit, WHY DO WOMEN STILL GET PAID LESS? Unemployment is higher for the veterans, disabled, races and women. AA is supposed to not ONLY help races but Veterans, the disabled and women because let's face it. The disabled are MORE discriminated than women, races and veterans. From not having wheelchair ramps to no elevators. Veterans who give their lives for their country get cheap sloppy health care. Women who give birth to some of the greatest world STILL get treated like ****!

It has nothing to do with your ancestors but more of REPRESENTATION and fixing the gap between the poor and the rich and Equality.
