Do you ever feel like you chosen the career choice that you will be doing for the rest of your life? Or do you feel like when you reach a certain age, everything will come together and you will get all the money you need to live off of for the rest of your life without having to work anymore?

I am hoping that one day things will fall into place on their own, but its probably just a dream.

I feel that I'm going to choose a career that I will end up doing for the rest of my life, and piece by piece, everything will come together and I will have done the things I've wanted to do in my life time, all the while, still working in my career field (I doubt I will accumulate enough money not to work anymore, at least not until I retire, hopefully I have a retirment fund). But, I also fear that things wont come together, and I will just do my job to get by for the rest of my life. I might go through a mid life crisis, and force myself to do things I've always wanted to... I don't know.
