There was conflict between Peter Wolf and other members of the band. Peter Wolf left and embarked on a solo career. He had a single in the early/mid 80's called 'Lights Out'.

Sorry, I really can't help more than what jaichan already answered, I just wanted to say they were a great band. I often quote thier song title, "She's getting even while I'm getting odd". And I don't know of any other band that could brag that they had a Magic Dick.............. Good Q
