Ah, sweet Sunshine. It is your birthday and I, your new lover and soul mate, have invited you to my villa on the Amalfi Coast. After a candle-lit dinner on the terrazzo we share a little smile, a little laugh, a whiskey sour in the bath. Placing the glasses aside and plucking the maraschino cherry from your hair, I carry you from the tub into the parlor where, if memory serves me, all hell breaks loose. "Leave the shattered porcelain and the up-ended furniture for the maid to attend to", I whisper as I carry you up the stairs to my chamber of love. "Thank God my body parts are still functional", I think to myself, as I scatter fragrant rose petals upon the silk sheets. "You are so adorable, I could spit", you purr, as I set a golden spitoon alongside the nightstand. Pressing our lips together we are carried away on a tidal wave of passion. Hours, if not days, pass in a haze of ardor. My few remaining brain cells welcome you into my life. "I am yours forever, my sweet", I pant, showering you with kisses, "if you will only be mine." You move your burning lips over my neck and up to my ear and whisper, "Yep....that's do-able."

I just wanted to say, "Happy Birthday"! (My daughter's birthday is Sunday.)
"A little smile. A little laugh. A "Whiskey Sour" in the bath. These are just a few of the things needed for a "Happy Birthday". Yet, if memory serves me, this is also when all Hell usually breaks loose. It's a good thing that all of your body parts are still functional. Otherwise, escape would be imposible. Have a blast!"
This is the message I received in my birthday card this year. Man, he must really be in a mood this time. Good thing I love him.
The first thing he said to me when we met was, "You are so adorable, I could spit." I'm still trying to figure out what that means. Of course later that same evening, he told me, "My few remaining brain cells welcome you into my life." I should have figured out then that life would never be dull with him in it.
Let's see . . . "A 'Whiskey Sour' in the bath" - yep . . . that's do-able!

Don't know what just happened but I spent several hours writing one of your stories regarding your upcoming birthday and when I went to submit it disappeared. Said question had been deleted.
No time to take up the challenge of writing one of the new story lines. Just wanted to say Happy Birthday.
