I'm a retired PRCA rider, Barrel Racing. I guess I must be a hick with a doctorate and a successful medical/legal practice then! Oh, and I still have all my teeth, thank you! :-) We have a joke in the western world about anyone using an English saddle... when you can't figure why your horse is tossing its attitude and all your training has failed, go ask the cowboy! We'll have a practical solution! Most true cowboys/western riders I know treat their animals like family because we understand the value of them... and I don't mean in dollars! I too find a lot of animosity between the different riding disciplines and I've never gotten it either. We all have one thing in common, the love of horses. As long as our animals are happy, healthy and cared for as they should be, who cares if you ride with an English or a Western saddle?!?

Well the biggest horse in the world is a shire, reaching up to 7 foot tall and weighing in at nearly 2 tons!

This is a pic of the fattest horse, kindof funny, not sure if it is real

The tallest horse in the world is named Goliath, The is 19.1 Hands, and weights 2400 lbs. Maybe he weights the most but I don't know if he is the fattest.
