To rehydrate liquid eyeliner, you could do 2 things:
1: Run under warm water to soften the eyeliner
2: Or put just a couple small drops of water in with an eyedropper and then shake it up.
That's it!

Funny, I have the exact same problem. Luckily I've found a way to solve this dilemma and it's as simple as it is effective. Simply put a drop of Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) into the offending container, cap with the brush and then shake vigorously. Test and repeat if the desired 'wetness' hasn't been achieved till it's a the right consistency. Hey Presto, problem solved and you're back in business, all the while saving a few bucks rather than buy a new eyeliner. Have a great weekend.

Definately buy a new one. That means it is old. Technically you are only supposed to use the same eye makeup for 3 months and then throw it away and buy new ones. I have been wearing liquid eyeliner since I was 13 the only kind I have ever used is Loreal. It is in a black tube with gold trim. The brush they use is thin and managable.

Be careful using any chemical to liquidize the eyeliner, it may harm your skin and worst yet it may irritate those beautiful eyes. Invest in buying a new one if you can. If it is a very expensive brand such as MAC, Lancome, etc perhaps you can call any shops that show case the brand and ask them.

I would just buy a new one. It sounds like the eyeliner may have been already opened when you purchased it. I would throw it away and get a new one! Good Luck!

Don't chance it. Just buy a new one. Once air has gotten into the tube, bacteria and germs breed, and you don't want that in your eyes. Better to lose $12 than to gain an eye infection.

1. Throw it away and back away slowly from the trash can
2. Run to the nearest store (or drive) and buy a new one.
3. Throw away any other make up that you successfully replenished or smells different or looks different etc.

Buy a new one or if you cant afford it place it in to a cup of hot water and it will begin to soften. You can also do this with mascara:-)
