Depends on where you are in California.

I do see that you are seeing some cold weather. This too is El-Nino driven.

At present in Ardmore, Oklahoma located in Southern Oklahoma at 12:42 AM CST - 10:42 PST it is 42 degrees F. It is partly cloudy. Winds are from the north at 14 MPH. Relative humidity is 93%. Dew point is 40 F.

It feels cold.

We will drop to around 35 F as dryer air and northerly winds from the cold front that passed through continues to move southward.

We will see a high of 49 F on Saturday and we will drop below freezing Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.

Hang in there - surely it will warm up for you.

Think of it this way.

You'll be wishing it were cooler in mid July or August. :)

It's unseasonably warm in central Ohio this year. It was 61* today!! Normally by this time of year we have snow! All the ski resorts in the area are closed because it's not even cold enough at night to make snow. Flowers are popping through the ground! We heard on the news today that the cherry blossoms in DC are blooming. I hope they still come out in May so we can see them at the Cherry Blossom festival when we visit our daughter there! Very strange weather!

I'm in south Texas. It's never cold enough for me. I used to live where it snowed and we had 4 seasons... Some day, when I'm rich enough, I'll pull up my roots again and relocate farther north. It's been in the 60's and low 70's pretty steadily this past week. Monday, it's supposed to get close to freezing. Let's hope.... or I hope, anyway. :-)
