The y-intercept is the value of y when x = 0.
So y-intercept = (0,5)

The y-intercept is where the line will cross the y-axis. It can also be considered to be as "if x = 0, what will y be?"

B is the point of the x -intercept (where the line crosses the x-axis), or where y = 0.

C was put up there just to fool you.

In this case, the only answer up there with x = 0 is A.
