Unfortunately, No. World peace is an ideal that too many people do not share. As long as there is such a lop sided distrubution of resources, differing religious, and cultural groups there will be people in those groups that think violence is the only way to get and keep what they want..

Americans are so hated now, more so than before. To have Trust from our foreign neighbors is quite unlikely.
It would take this United States to pray and work toward
a resolution in establishing "trust" again. Perhaps no one has really held full trust in the USA and it's government, as our government most likely distrusts other countries as well. World peace would be an absolute out of this world experience for all of us. Differences some who have not learned to accept will always close the gates of opportunity for world peace.

All people always dream and strive for some ideal. But an ideal cannot be achieved and isn't good. Without conflict, life is empty. We have many problems, but they help us. The world will always have problems. We just have to live with them. I honestly think our society is perfect right now. I am afraid of all the technological advances we are making. When life is perfect, we will need some problems, and those will be greater than the problems we have now.
