On the game God Of War?

The cylinder of spikes in the path to hades (after pandoras box is taken from you) is there something to stop it from turning or is it just plain skill to get to the top?

Unfortunately, it is just skill. You basically have to learn the timing of the spikes and go quickly. It took me awhile to beat!

its all skill dude. it isnt that hard. all u need is patience. take your time going through. you will make it. i can beat the game with not much difficulty on the god mode difficulty. skill is the key. just keep practicing and you'll be fine. trust me.
