Does this ever happen to you and if It does, can it be fixed?
A little window appears on my computer screen very often saying that there is a Windows error. The Box has two choices: SEND or DON'T SEND. No matter which one I choose, It exits the program I am in. This only happens on the internet. I have run many virus scans and my computer has turned out virus free. This Error is very, very annoying. I used to be able to drag it to the bottom of the screen, but now it leaves a white trail behind it.
I've tried Sending before. It still comes up, more than ever now.

You have to disable the "Error Reporting" feature in xp. Right click on My Computer, click on Properties, click on the Advanced tab, then click on "Error Reporting", and click on Disable error reporting.

That would be your windows telling you that there is an OS error or compatability error. XP is designed to do error reporting, thus the box that asks to send. it is not a virus, or at least very rarely is . the problem is that 1 or more programs or devices on your computer are not getting along. do to this when you do certain things with the computer it will act up and want to report it to Microsoft( or whoever wrote the program that is haveing the problem is it is a third party software issue.) this is not a bad thing because if a lot of peole have the same problem and report it the software manufactrer will make a fix or upgrade to repair it and you computer will autmaticly be told this and you will be offered the update. the reason it is shuting down the browser is to stop from having a full blown system crash from whatever the conflict is. this is also not so bad since you computer would freeze up and crash every time you ran into this issue otherwise. unfortunatly there is no way to fix this without knowing what is causing it. if this is recent try running your system restore to a date before it started. if it has been ongoing try to remember if you installed anything around the time it started happening and uninstall it. this may help, if the damage to the other programs is not to serious at this point. without knowing more details that is about all I can tell you.

Anything like that I always scan for spyware using Ad-Aware, McAfee, AVG Anti-Spyware, and Spybot Search and Destroy while under Safe Mode (pressing either F5 or F8 repeatedly on computer boot up). These programs I mentioned are free to download, are easy to use, and are fast-acting and use up little CPU power on your machine so you can do ordinary tasks while they work (unfortunately gameplay will be affected while these programs do their thing).

The "Send" or "Don't Send" will send a message to Microsoft or Apple telling them that one of its users (you) encountered a problem with software they made, so that they can fix it in future updates and patches. Always press "Send" even if it takes half a minute to process, it'll help out you and others in the future.

The program that closes is the program experiencing the glitch, the glitches should not happen as often as you say, which is why I suspect nasty spyware or malware bugs on your system throwing monkeywrenches at your running processes. Evil little villains.

Checking that box does not make the program exit (or crash). You do not have a virus.

That information box is simply informing you that your program is about to crash and wants to send the data to Microsoft for analysis.

As the other person said; running a SFC / scannow could help you to replace and corrupted Windows system files.

Or simply back up all your data, reformat and reinstall Windows. Good luck.

Type the message into a search engine - you will find someone else who has had this problem - usually with a solution. I find the computer boards to be very helpful. Good luck!
