Why would he? Why would he WANT to leave?

It's called A REAL MARRIAGE.

Not a FAIRY TALE.

I am HIS wife. He has chosen ME, and I have CHOSEN him.

We aren't LIVE IN BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND.

Our efforts are NOT "fantasy"....

OUR children are THOROUGHBREDS.

.....any questions?............................

If you understood marriage its give and take 100% and 100%. He could walk out the door...but to what? Disease? If you are open about Everything and I do mean Everything...there is less of a chance that he will wonder whats on the over side if everything is provided at home. I am a wife, a mother with a full time job..and married for 13 years...we are literally more in love today than yesterday because everything is new....new ideas, mystery, and intrigue is what men look for...so JUST DO IT...like Nike sd...Hope that explains my opinion

People walk out all the time. Nothing stops some people. Too many people only care about themselves. That's not so bad if it is just the two of you but too many people walk out on their kids. Selfishness and stupidity seem to be on the rise.

My husband of 8 yrs bailed on our son and I while I was in a health crisis. He is half a continent away from his son now. Our son is in therapy. He has not paid child support since last August. My ex is having a baby with his former best friend’s wife. On his myspace page he says he does not want kids. It makes no sense. He will bail on them too eventually.

Sorry to rant. I can talk complain him all day but I’m the one who picked him. You have to learn to NOT choose those kinds of people. Even if you do figure all this out there is no guarantee. Invest your time in worthwhile relationships like the ones you have with your kids.

I agree marriage only ties you to someone legally not necessarily emotionally
