There were a group of friends on TV that went a year without buying anything except for a few categories like food. I think I could make it a couple of months not sure about a year. How long could you go?

For me personally that wouldn't be problem becuase that is the way i save the money i have anyway. I don't buy much more then i need and then i save my money and can buy one big item rather then blow it all over time on small stuff i don't need or isn't going last me long anyway. When your a college student it is about all you can do anyway

Not long unless I would be allowed to buy and give it away. Then I could go a year easy.

About 3-5 mo. providing that i did not have 7 adult German Shepherd Dogs and one Schipperke to provide for.

i can only do it if i'm forced into that situation (like super poor). otherwise i love shopping too much. =)
