Well, if you're looking for a cool phone, I would wait for a bit.
There are rumors that Apple is coming out with an "iPhone" which would be an iPod/phone mix.
In fact, very soon... it MAY even be this Monday, since Monday is the Mac convention.
As far as the Razr, there are many different models/colors.
Here they are-

Some of these different models run on different networks, because some networks such as Sprint do not use a "Sim" card (which others do, such as cingular).
The krzr is off of the razr, but the one main difference is that the krzr has an integrated mp3 player-

The "KRAZR" is similar to the Razr, and they are both made by Motorola. Pretty much all of the current models are the same. The differences that each model has is dependent on the services your phone provider offers.
Check out ebay. I have found a LOT of good deals on ebay if you are looking for a phone that you start new service with. Usually you can get the phone really really cheap, but you have to activate it with a certain service provider within a certain amount of time.
As you don't have phone service now, this would be a great option for you. Just make sure that you check out the service providers first. The big national ones are Cingular, Verizon, and Sprint. Others my be available in your area. Go to your local BestBuy. They will have the providers services and phones that you can look at. You don't have to buy from them, just look at what they have. When you find what you want, go to ebay.
Type in something similar to Verizon Razr, with the service provider in place of Verizon if you choose to go with another.
No, I don't have Verizon, so I'm not advertising.

Don't get a RAZR! Everyone has one! You're not gonna look cool or original with a phone everyone else has. Get a SLVR, they look better. RAZRS are very thin, but they make up for it in width, it looks like you're using a big home phone when you're on one.
