Vitamin E oil and Mederma a cream that was made specifically for scars. You can get it at any drug store but I think it is expensive. I have a permanent scar in the corner of my lip. I am 39 and I hit myself in the face with the tip of my ski pole when I was 15. I skied over a patch of ice and lost control. It never was noticeable but now it is and I have to get it removed. It is like a lump now. Not all scars are permanent. I was going to ge an eye brow piercing but now after readying your question I won't.

I dont know if it is permanent or not, but to make if fade anyways, buy some scar fading cream like Mederma, or New Skin from a drugstore and put it on a few times a day.

So another mistake... it is so often when we are young, we will do something we regret later in life. More than likely it will be permanent.
A plastic surgeon may be able to help.
I hear there are some make ups for people who have severe facial scars for burn etc... they may help somewhat.
There are some meds that help with scarring but they are for when the initial injury happens only.
It is slightly possible that time will help.

Seeming that skin is delicate, it may take a while to heal just because of the location that you want to get rid of. My best advice for your theory is to wear make-up if you are that desperate or just leave it alone and give it time to heal. Don't harm yourself. It's part of life.

There is scar gel that can be purchased at any drug store. The name escapes me but it does seem to minimize the scar.

There are several products on the Market that are painless to relieve the scar:
Scar Therapy
ScarZone
ScarMed can be found at Walgreens. If they don't have it request it or go on line and type in keloids.
