Are you bleeding? Is the cramping so bad you can't move? If so then i suggest that you go to the emergency room, just to be sure.
You could be having a miscarriage.
I just found out the I am pregnant on new years eve. Not sure how far along though, possibly 8 or 9 weeks, and I have had a little bit of cramping and some very light bleeding. I went to my doc's yesterday, and he said that my body was threatening miscarriage, whatever that means. So he scheduled an ultra sound for Monday....
IF it is really bad, with bleeding then to the hospital, better safe than sorry.
Hope everything works out for you.
By the way this is my second, and it never happened with my first.

remember every pregnancy and baby is different.
It sounds like your body is just stretching to make way for growing baby.
good luck at the doctor
& to miscillia

yikes-your body is threatening m/c yet the doc. is waiting so long to get you a u/s????-I think I'd be looking for a new doctor if I were you.

I am 27 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and everytime i go to the Dr. she tells me that the baby is doing great, but i have had cramping since very early in my pregnancy. Not really sure why, but i guess that cramping isnt always someting so bad if ive made it this far with it, and she is still ok.
Hope you feel better.

each pregnancy is different. You'll notice a lot of different things with this pregnancy. My mom and Dr. told me that the more kids you have the more pain you'll be in. The cramps are normal. It's just the baby and placenta making a home in the lining of the uterus.

I cramped bad till I hit my 14th week! I thought for sure I was having some sort of problem, because it didn't happen with my first one. But as it turns out everything is fine. My uterus just wasn't happy about expanding.

I cant believe your not willing to call your Dr before Monday. cramping is not something to go lightly with. It may be something simple as your uterus stretching or you may contracting. Some trabidaline may stop that if that's what that is but you may not know if you don't contact you Dr at least by phone.

I'm 17 weeks, and have lower uterus cramps like crazy. The pain is no big deal, just the uterus growing, as it probably is for you. I had pains at about 9 weeks too. It is just growing is all.

I was cramping with my 2 kids. My doc just told me that my body was trying to prepare me to carry a child. He told me to use a warm washcloth for comfort. Hope it helps. :o)

I had cramping early in my pregnancy. It was like Light Menstrual Cramps. If you are having stronger ones, or back pain with or without cramps, then please seek medical attention. It is better safe then sorry.
