you either go to the music store and if u have an itunes card then push reedeem and type in the # on the back of your itunes card or download limewire and download all the songs you want then drag them.If u have the new itunes then u open it then minimize it and go to limewire again then click the song hold on to it and take 2 the bottom of your computer where itunes should be then it will pop up and drag it 2 music then when u drag every 1 u want plug in your ipod.If you have the old 1 then you dont have 2 open it just click and drag the songs u want to whereever your itunes is on your computer then close it and when your done open it and hook up your ipod

connect usb to computer and ipod.
go into itunes on the left you will see a bar that says playlists and library.
Click the folder you want the songs to be in.
Then go to the folder your songs are in and then drag the files you want into the big space (right of the bar).
if you are taking songs from a cd on the left you will see the cd name if you want the whole cd drag the the bar on the left into the folder you want it to be in
if you want single songs click on the cd name and then you will see the list of tracks
. Drag the trakcs into the folder you want.
After you drag the file wait a few moments and the ipod will be updated be itself.
It will say do not disconnect on the ipod, just dissconnect when your done.

It's actually quite simple.
1) Plug in your iPod
2) Open iTunes
3) Go to "File" then "Add files to Library"
4) Select the song(s) you want and click OK
5) Repeat until you chose all the songs you want
6) Click "File" then "New Playlist"
7) Name the list whatever you want
8) Go to the "Recently Added" playlist
9) Find the songs you added, click the first one, hold the Shift key, and click the last one. They should all be selected. Right click on one of those, and choose "Add to Playlist" then the playlist you named in step 7
10) Check that all your songs are on the list
11) Go to [Your name]'s iPod (which is above the playlists)
12) Click the "Music" tab at the top
13) Find the playlist you made in step 7, click on it, and click the "Apply" button
I hope that's all right. If you need more help, email me at:

You need your USB cable that came with the Ipod package. Hock it up to your computer and than to your Ipod.
Open up Itune software it will show youre Ipod. Name your ipod. I called my Angelika.
Than there is two way's you can upload music.
Pop some CD music from your musics' into your dvd burner.
they show up automatically. Check mark them which one you wanted.
And than click on upload. It will automatically upload them to your IPOD. during this stages do not disconnect your ipod. good luck.
