How many times have I told you, one must remove the dead bodies out of your trunk at least once a week ????

Is the clinking your from your spare tire area? Maybe your lock is broken because someone broke into your trunk and stole the spare?? If your spare is still there try tightening the wing nut or bolt that holds the spare in its place. They tend to over time work themselves loose.

Maybe a crook broke into your car, opened the trunk with the release in the glovebox, went around to look in the trunk, saw something shiny, climbed in to get it , the car bounced and the trunk closed.
