gestational diabetes? Did someone call you and notify you? Just wondering because I had the test done Tuesday and the doc would have the results wed or thursday and I havent heard anything yet.

Some doctors call no matter the results of the test and some only call when there is an abnormality. So no news is good news. My OB was the only doctor I have ever had that called no matter if the results were normal or abnormal.

I took it and did not have gestational diabetes. They were able to tell me a few hours I took the test because it's all based on the lab results and the blood sugars they found based on your blood. The hospital (my doctor did not provide the test) called the same day I took it.
Call your doctor. I'm sure s/he has the results!

yes i just did the 3 hour a few weeks ago and i never heard anything back so i ended up calling to check and they said that everything came back normal (thankfully!) and that was why they didnt call. So if it came back that you had gestational diabetes they would def call you right away. BEst of luck!

when i had my glucose test done, they gave me the drink at an appointment the few weeks before so i drank it 45 mins before i went in, by the time i seen the doc i was all ready to go and take the test. when i took the test they told me about 15 mins later, they also did a test to check if i was enemic. but all doc's are different, you should have asked your doc when you took the test, dont be afraid to ask them stuff, thats what they are there for :)

Yeah I had that done, it doesn't take very long to get results from the standard test. They may have just forgotten to call you, I would definitely call them soon to get your results. Good luck.

my Dr. called me with the results within the same week that I took it.......Those glucose tests suck.......especially when you have to do the 3-hour one.....I had to do it in 2 pregnancies.

when i had mine done ,i called the doc the next day &got results,maybe you should call the next day they are open and ask or set up appintment,he may not discuss it with you over the phone.

Yes, they seem to call right away if its abnormal, I would call them on Monday.
