I am specifically wanting a map that shows the small towns in TN, along hwy. 45. I have done searches and come up with lots and lots of maps, but so far the sites I've looked at have not had the details I'm wanting. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried Google maps? Lots of cool features to find obscure places and create printable maps.

It's not exactly a map, but you cannot beat Google Earth. It's a program you can download from google. You can search any business or address and it allows you to zoom in from satellite images. If you are looking for directions, you can type both your departure and destination and it will layout the route for you. The best thing about it is you can see the offramps and highways better than you would on a map.
You can also save pictures or print the directions

i'm afraid in case you like layers and so on, you're speaking approximately GIS structures. you would be fortunate to locate something unfastened. the wonderful and maximum special maps of super Britain are made by technique of Ordnance Survey. i wish you have deep wallet!
