Its really hard to say who is the best striker in the world today but Thierry Henry is definately one of the best striker out there right now. I really hate it that people keep on saying Arsenal is a one man team, cause they are not!! They won games without Henry too you know.
Go gunners!!!

I would say he was up there with the best the last couple of seasons. His form has dipped slightly.
There are however a number of quality players in their respective leagues - Ronaldhino pretty much does the same as Henry (score and set up lots of goals) in Spain, Schevchenko was class in Italy (not so much in the uk). Even Cisse was superb in France.

Now maximum individuals listed decrease than are no longer examining the question impressive. Thierry Henry did dramatise the foul interior the SEMI finals against Portugal to get the penalty - as somebody rightly stated, so the referee ought to work out the foul - there grew to become into touch, and it grew to become right into a bad, yet while he hadn't fallen over interior the way he did, he does no longer have had the penalty determination and the foul made him omit a purpose scoring oportunity. even however you're asking relating to the QUARTER finals, ie against Brazil. Zidane assisted Henry to attain on a loose kick, led to through a "foul" on Henry. there grew to become into no such element, he dived outrageously. Nevermind, the purpose grew to become into perfect, the end grew to become into perfect and France deserved a purpose against Brazil, they ruled during. i grew to become into highy disillusioned that "Titi" could dive, had in no way considered him try this before, and in no way considering the fact that. ALLEZ LES BLEUS!

Nah uh, Andriy Shevchenko is a better striker. He is the second top highest goal scorer of all time in the European club competitions (with only the legendary Gerd Muller in front of him). Besides, Thierry Henry is always offside...

his not the best striker his the best player today I dont care about stats or anything. He is the best player, he can shoot, dribble and pass plus his very fast and never seems to get tired in games. Btw Arsenal is my favorite team.

He used to be, but now there are players like Drogba (Chelsea), Eto'o (Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Man U) who are younger and faster.
He's still great, though, but a shade below those other guys.

That is the most riduculous question I have seen on this 'answers' thing so far. For a start he plays football. Second how many goals that he scores are because of his team mates giving him the oppurtinity? It is a team game. We have good teams, but not good individual players.
