I keep having a dream about a bird tattoo, an oriole, on my right arm. Now I love tattoo's as the next guy, but the last thing i'd do is get a tattoo, considering I'm young and feel it's silly to put something permanent on your body that you might regret 10, 20 years later. In the dream I see the tattoo and then wonder: When did I get this? Wow this tattoo is kind of large. I am dissapointed in myself that I'd get a tattoo.

Regardless, I have no idea what it means but I keep having it, anyone know what it could mean?

What we dream is part of our unconscious, especially if it is a recurring dream. Program yourself to address this issue before going to sleep at night. Tell yourself that if you dream that again, you will say to yourself, 'this is not something that I choose to do because it isn't right for me.

Any bird is a representation of freedom as well as flying. Are you taking flying lessons or learning to be a pilot? Do you feel constraints at home? Bird are flying creatures who are free to go where they want when they want. Could this be an issue that has been on your mind?

Keep a list of your immediate goals in sight at all times. If you don't have a list, make one. It sometimes helps.

Self-disappointment is also featured in this dream. Have you taken any actions against your better judgement? This could be plaguing you.

Also break up the dream after you wake up. Write it down then with each word you've written, write the first thing that comes into your mind when you look at it...and don't hesitate and wonder if it right...just put it on paper. Before you know it, those words will form a sentence and tell you what's on your mind or give indication of something that you may do later on then possibly regret.

Well i think you have tattoo-phobia. I have acrophobia. I don't like heights. But still i dream that i live in an apartment/work in an office that is at the top of a tall building.

In my opinion, you may be somewhat the fan of the tattoo or you may have the deep memory related with the tattoo so more or less the new image of the tattoo often comes in your mind. Even while sleeping, your mind imagine about the tattoo and this is what you get in your dream. You can be rewarded by a tattoo company if you can provide it the new tattoo design from your dream, hi ha ha. Ok man, please add my id on your contact: urgent_msg1@yahoo.com

Perhaps the tattoo that you already have is giving you these dreams. You see your tattoo and your mind is reminded of the person you have lost. Do you feel any regrets towards the person that has passed? Are there things you wish you would have said/done differently with them? Are your currently having any issues with your looks?

If you dream about getting a tattoo (and you don't have one in real life), you are entering a new stage in your life.

i looked it up for you

Draw a picture of the tattoo and then maybe you'll stop having the dream.

Go to Office Depot..Buy some removable tattoo paper. (yes it exists) Download a picture that is similar or draw one and print it out. Then you can have the picture on your arm and take it off whenever you want!
