Go to any powwow. There are always people selling Native CD's at Powwows. I've gotten Bill Miller, Kashtin, Litefoot, all at powwows.

The best place to order Native music is probably from the artists themselves.

Bill Miller's music is at http://www.billmiller.net/merch.html

Michael Jacob's music is at http://www.sacrednation.com/sn_music.htm

Some Litefoot is at http://www.amazon.com/Litefoot-Lite-Years-1989-1999/dp/B0002ABLGU

You can order various Native music at Kenja's http://kenja.net/cdshop/native/ or at Matoska's http://www.matoska.com/cgibin/gencat.cgi?AC=genpage&CF=music&DF=intro_music.htm&DS=Introduction+to+Native+American+Music

You can also listen to Native music online at http://www.gatheringofnations.com/gonradio/index.htm Gon Radio Online is the best place to listen to Native music for free. It's online 24/7 and you don't have to download anything. Once you click on that link the music just starts!!!!

If you go to Youtube you can hear and watch some Native music....
Indian Cars http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv3BFarumTI
Running Bear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp_N6TyBPgY

You should also go to the Native American Music Awards site to learn more about Native music and the best of lately.... http://www.nativeamericanmusicawards.com/index.cfm They also have an area where you can order some Native music. A Wade Fernandez song starts when you go to that site. It's pretty good.

I am part Cherokee Indian and enjoy all Native American music, especially my CDs of Navajo-Ute flutist R. Carlos Nakai who plays the flute in beautiful harmony with a string orchestra. There are several stores on line that you can find Native American music. A few are: FindStuff.com, Amazon.com, and www.shop.com. Have you tried a Best Buy, a Borders Bookstore, or FYI store?

P.S.-- My personal favorites are those with the flute and/or drum mixed in along with other sounds of nature. Some of the titles of CDs that I have: Native Spirit, Flute Dreams, and Wind Riders. Nakai, by the way, is under Canyon Records. I hope that you find what you are looking for and enjoy!

Assuming you wish to buy:

Try amazon.com and ask for music,native American,traditional.

One group, the Badland Singers, is truly traditional.

I'm guessing you mean music cds to buy. Try http://www.matoska.com and http://www.zangomusic.com they both have big selections. If there are specific artists you can't locate on these sites you may need to find what label they are on and have them special ordered. You can also find a good assortment of cds at Pow Wows!
