I welcome all immigrants, no matter what skin color. Legal or illegal. All I ask is no more bi-lingual anything. English is the tongue we speak, learn it so we can be equals, and I will welcome you with open arms and call you all brother.

What people tend to forget is that this country was built by immigrants. The true Americans were Indians. Then the boats brought over the immigrants from Europe and later on we used blacks and asians to build railroads and other things. So when these uninformed people start talking about how we need to get rid of the immigrants what they don't realize is that if we got rid of all the immigrants our country would fall apart.

I think it's the immigrants that remind us what hard work means and what it means to take care of your family no matter what. The risks that these immigrants have made in order for a better life is tremendous. We could stand to learn a great deal from these hard workers. How many lazy Americans would leave their country to go to somewhere unknown alone to feed their families? I don't know one. Risking their lives for a better life.

I spent nine years in the Army and most of the people in the Army are minorities. So if these minorities weren't in the service our military would fall apart.

First of all I realize only some illegal alien are criminals in Mexico, but by comming across the border illegally they have all become criminals. We all know they are here for a better future. If they could make the process to become legal quicker I would be all for it. The thing is that illegals here do not pay taxes. they do not have medical or auto insurance. The recieve some welfare bennefits though. This is a huge burden on our economy by driving up insurance prices. Also any who are arrested here are taken care of out of taxpayer money just like the healh care and benifits they recieve. The point you make about no one wanting to do the work they do is wrong. Americans will do those jobs but they will get more money and insurance. Americans did the jobs before the illegals came here to do them.

Being Illegal is a crime. Therefore they are all criminals. Maybe they did come here for a better life maybe not. If so then why do they break the laws when they get here. They steal other peoples idenities, they drive without a license or insurance. They go on welfare and have more kids than they can afford. I could go on and on but what's the point. Of course not all Illegals are mexican just 3/4 of them are. You need to get your facts straight before you start making accusations.

They are criminals, read the United States Laws. If caught, all illegal immigrants will be prosecuted. By the way, why are you singling out Latinos? Cubans, Haitians, Russians, Chinese, there are many types of illegal immigrants, not just Hispanics.

I have nothing against anyone who wants to come here and make a better life for themselves. Period. However....

There is a legal process by which one is and should be required to go through. Sorry, but it is against the law to enter this country illegally. Hence, illegal immigrants (be they Mexican, Canadian, et al.) are law-breakers and should be treated as such.

There are legal ways to enter this great country, utilize them, and welcome. Break the law and go to jail, then be deported.
