Why in the song Chop Suey the guy in the system of a down band say that angels deseve to die?

Part of the song (the father into your hands bit) is taken from a speech made by an Armenian priest following the genocide in 1915.
Part of the meaning can draw its roots from the genocide. The "angels" are a metaphor for people. Not literal angels.

They cry when fate or god deems it necessary that angels should deserve to die.

well the best answer to this question would come from the person who wrote the lyrics or any band member..
But in my opinion, the lyrics are this way, coz the band perceives the world as a wicked one and a bad place for good human beings (such nihilistic attitude is found among many rock bands) .

Hence the lyrics, angels deserve to die.
here death is viewed from a positive spectrum i.e. it is considered as a freedom from wordly evils.
Thats my interpretation..
