Hope that sounds the same for you as it does for me. Anyhow, I do like their shoes and bags.
In French, the vowels divide the syllables, so ET goes together. The I stands alone and makes a long e sound. ENNE makes your last syllable, and the double NN draws out the sound. AI makes the sound of eh, and the GN is a trickier sound like n-yuh, combine it with ER, which is a long a sound in French, gives you the two syllables I showed above.
