Apple?
Moxy Krimefighter?
Dweezil?
Beaucephus?

I mean, what ARE they thinking?
Their kids need to actually live in this world and eventually get jobs....I mean, who'd listen to the CEO of Ford if she was named Fifi Trixabelle Geldof?

Not to be mean or put anyone down, but for the same reasons some of us black people name our kids "Aquaneta or Unique and Oceana and Sheniqua" what the hell, i mean there are so many names out there that mean something if thats what they are aiming for but not every name should be used. I know most people with those names say their parents wanted to be unique and different, but goodness "aquaneta"? be unique and name them a real name that they can be proud of. So the stars am sure want their kids to stand out by naming them apple but still they could have done it like tom cruise and name them a real japanese name even if it means something else other than rich. I think i'll name my kid "Ling Bing Chong" and add my last name!! but i bet you it means something in chinese!!
Anyway it's all ignorant really and my black people please lets name our kids names that will get us jobs, Jennifer is a real name so is Michelle but Aquaneta is not a name!!! but it's someones name though!!

Because they can. They are semi-royalty in Hollywood, and can get away with many things. They probably won't even have to get jobs, or go to inner city public schools where other kids would make fun of their names. It's also gaining more popularity and acceptance. Or maybe they want their child to be unique?

Think back to high school. If you are being honest with yourself then you will admit that the social elite were in general pretty slow, stupid, challenged etc. So why would you think it would change on a larger scale

I've wondered the same thing. I think they have so much money and have done just about everything most of us only dream about until they're bored. A crazy name shakes things up briefly for them.

They will risk their own childrens humiliation for a little attention. What if Apple wants to be a brain surgeon. She'll get alot of flack in her life jusy b/c her parents were insecure and named her that.

Because they want themselves and their kids to be unique. What they don't realize is that their kids are going to get the fallout of their "uniqueness". If my parents named me Apple, I'd kill them!
The real uniqueness in a person lies in their innerself, not his or her name.

I completely agree. a number of those names accessible genuine now are only undeniable "stupid". they are undoubtly no longer thinking approximately how merciless little ones could be while it includes call calling. between loads of different issues besides.

They are obviously idiots. Someone should tell them....if you want to be creative, get some crayons and construction paper....don't screw with your kid's names. Their "originality" makes it difficult for their children later on.

I think that they do this so everyone will know who they are, but when you stop and think about it can you imagine what these poor children are going to encouger in life.
