My jeans are so loose that they do not fit me anymore :(

They are my size and they were a little tight at the begining, now after some washes they're too big for me and I haven't lost any weight because my other pants feel normal.

This always happens to me. I usually buy them @ Charlotte Russe. The brand is REFUGE and they're made with 98% cotton, 2% spandex.

Is it because of the material? If that's it, which should I buy then?

it's because of the material. I have had this problem too, i would say to buy a stretch jean if you are looking for that tight look. I really like american eagle jeans, cause they last forever and they come in like every size imaginable. and try washing your old jeans in hot water, and drying them on a high setting, that should shrink them back up because they are cotton. though you might want to try on or the other first before doing both.

I would say that the material just relaxes after wear. Oddly enough 98% would shrink some I would think LOL Right now I have Tommy Hillfiger and Hot Kisses from Marshall's, Mossimo from Target and Levi's from Walmart. They all fit great when I bought them and continue to do so. I like the Levi's the best though. And Mossimo runs way small, I wear like a 4 and had to buy a 7!

Thats because of the quality of material. While designer jeans are pricey I think there worth it because they last longer and hold their shape.Try Paper Denim and Cloth,Seven For All Mankind,Citizens Of Humanity

to get not stretchy jeans you have to pay money for them. You have to buy like a 75 dollar pair of jeans instead of a 14.99 dollar pair of jeans.

It suks but its true. Its one of those things you really can't skimp on. You know like cotton swabs and running shoes and macaroni and cheese. You really have to pay the extra money in order for them to be decent.

It's because of the material wearing out. If you wear them a lot and days in the row it wears them out faster. I wear St. John's Bay because they are stretchy and they seem to regain their size after washing.

the spandex is stretched out, and will not rebounce to original shape.
Try 100 percent cotton

because of the spandex. If it is all cotton, they will shrink and get smaller.
