i recently reunited with a friend after 15 years. we were so much alike but now she appears brainwashed. she is married and he does all the calling. she has no other emotion other than happy. it is not normal. what to do?

i have seen people like this and it is not healthy. have you noticed if she can make a decision on her own?
does she defer answering you to buy time to ask her husband? if she is always happy, that is a problem because no one is!!! i would try to get her help, but do not expect help from hubby.

As sad as it may be, accept that she has moved on. Cherish the memories you share with her, but realize you have little in common anymore. You are in no position to judge whether she is "normal" either

awwww just remind her of old times and the fun you used to have. that is a shame when really great people marry someone who doesn't treat them right. just be there fo her, she probably need a friend right now : )

In 15 years...alot has changed....she's married and hes the boss. the controlling freak! lol.....anyways' if she want's to talk to you..she will..but right now..just be there for her.
