In the board game "Kazink!" how does game play go after a wild card is placed on top of an opponents chip?

Does the spot become open for either team? or does the spot become the new colors position.... unless the other team put down a wild or a crown?

If the wild is placed on top of a stack, it can only be played upon by it's own color, a crown or another wild. It may be played on by the opponents' color IF all spaces of that suit are already covered.

It is the new color's position, until topped as indicated above.
