Should a fund be set up to pay rewards for the location of missing people, bodies etc.(paid only after body, person was found) Similar to Crime stoppers, Even if it was the person who committed the crime. A criminal by the name of Clfford Olsen would only disclose the location of the children he murdered if he was paid money ( to give to his family).

If it was my child who was kidnapped, then murdered. I would give money to find their remains. The law says you can't profit from a crime. I think many missing people would be found.

Yes, I think rewards help catching criminals. As far as Clifford Olsen, if one of these children was your missing child, would you not want to at least have their body, for closure at least , if nothing else to have that precious child's body to mourn and bury yourself, instead of never knowing if the child was dead or alive. If that was the only way that sick sob would give up that location, yes give him the money, so he can go on and burn in hell. His family was not the one who murdered that child, he did.
