It really depends on what's going on in their life. Many people have children by their mid-thirties and they're planning for college. Those without kids may be planning their retirement. Some people are worried about their job or even continuing their education. In a nutshell, I think people in their mid 30's have many things to think about. That's the age where lots of things are happening not only to themselves but their families.

how fast time flies... I am 34, and it seems like i was 24 yesterday, and thinking ....... wow 44 is on the way quick,i better get my life straight and take on the old addage there's a time to play, there's a time to work... etc......Time to be a little more serious, but now i can really enjoy life more money!!!!!!, also have to think and do save for retirement.lol

I think once you hit the jesus year - 33 (the year he died) - most people start benchmarking their life against the accomplishments of others. Usually they start to find it lacking. This usually results in them doing something about it or not doing something and beginning the slow process of settling.

i am in my mid thirties and i agree with all the above responses except the urge for sex is slowly diminishing

That they are getting old and they want to think about they future more and whats going to happen when they reach their 40's.

When in my 30's, I often thought: "I'd better get all the sex I can before I get much older.....'cause I probably won't get any later in life."
