I am thinking about getting an Apple AirPort Express, to help me put my computer in my room. When I was reading on the Apple website about this product, when I came across the dreaded asterisk. It stated that "AirTunes will only work with AirTunes-compatable stereos". Does anyone know of any such stereo?

Actually, AirTunes' "compatibility" is basically universal with any stereo system more expensive than a boom-box. Really the only thing you're stereo system will need will be some form of Aux input, which would most likely a part of RCA (phono) jacks. If your stereo has that, when you buy the AirPort Express, run out to RadioShack and pick up a 3.5mm (1/8") mini-jack to RCA adaptor (Catalogue #42-2483 or similar) and you should have no problems hooking the two together.
