Call a carpet and upholstery cleaner. We use a deodorizer that is specially formulated for urine contamination. I do 2-8 of these exact jobs every month. There is NOTHING you will find in the grocery store or in home depot that will help this.

You need to have the sofa and the recliner professionally cleaned and deodorized.

p.s. Make sure you tell them it is urine. Otherwise they might use a standard deodorizer that WILL NOT solve your problem.

Try Febreeze.

Seriously...my 5 year old decided to puke all over the couch (off-white) and carpet (grey) on the first day of the Christmas break.

What I did was wipe up the thick stuff (not a problem you have), clean with carpet cleaner or upholstery cleaner (buy at grocery store - plus you'll need sponges)...finally, I noted there was still puke smell. So I sprayed with Febreeze and haven't had the problem since.

I would use a 50/50 dilution of warm water and vinegar! Works wonders!!! You may have to do it twice...maybe even 3 times, be patient!! It is cheap, and natural!!! I use it all the time for puppy puddles!!!
