Will the graphics on the XBOX 360 get any better than Gears of War?

well, in terms of pure numerical power, the ps3 outperforms the xbox 360. the thing is, sony tried to pack all this cutting-edge technology into their machine that it's actually become a little harder to develop software for. also, having better graphical power doesn't necessarily translate into success for a console. multiplatform games (like madden, soon to be GTA) look the same on both systems, and developers won't really go to the trouble to make the ps3 one look better. so, yes, the ps3 does have better graphical power, but it's not entirely clear if the exclusives on the ps3 will look that much better that buying a ps3 for $200 extra dollars (as opposed to the 360) is really worth it.

and yes, i think the graphics will get better on the 360. if you look at the last generation of consoles, look how much the graphics improved over the years. compare SSX with Metal Gear Solid 3 or God of War on the ps2, and you'll see what i mean. it's not for sure, but history has shown us that people won't see the full potential of consoles till much later in their life cycle. same goes for the ps3.
