Can a 17 year old date and a 20 year old date and other stuff in a state where legal age is 21 and the 20 year old not get any charge
I was just wondering since 20 is still a minor there

The legal age of adulthood according to our goverment is 18. Dating between a 20 year old and a 17 year old, I would think is ok, but some people might disagree.

"legal" just mean that you are responsible for ALL of your actions. It doesn't have anything to do wiht dating someone...it's a 3 year difference. Now, if the parents seem they don't want their 17 yearold daughter dating that guy then NO they can't date because she's still under age!

The oldest age of consent in the US is 18, not 21.

At age 18 throughout the US, you can enter into contracts, marriages, vote, buy cigarettes, join the military etc. The only thing you can't do is buy booze.
