Songs bring out emotions that begin with the first note. Whether it was a song that you remember during a breakup, a song that played on your first date, a tune that brings chills to your spine or whatever other circumstance, songs bring out the most varied of feelings. How many times have you heard people say, " I remember hearing that song when I was in high school" or "they played that song at my wedding?"
What song, if any, played an important part in your life?

There is one song in particular that comes to mind: Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. When i was 2, the song was popular (thanks to Wayne's World) and i remember sitting in the back seat of my parents car singing the 'ma ma mia' part. Then, when i was younger, i actually heard the whole song (the whole thing is inappropriate for a 2 year old) and i fell in LOVE with the piano parts, and it inspired me to start the piano. I bough myself the sheet music when I started playing, and over the past 8 years, have taken lessons and practiced my heart out and now, i can play that song in it's entirety. I love it, i have never been more motivated to a long term goal than i was to play that song!

Whenever I hear any of the hymns that we sing in church on Easter Sunday, I am reminded of and filled with my faith in God. Easter is so joyful and the songs of that day move me so strongly that it's almost like an imprint in my soul.
