Well, it is something like that between man and dog, as far as different senses go. We can not even intimate what it is to have a nose like a dog. The interaction part would be tricky, though, unless they did a good job of interpreting sense data that they had no physical access to. Now my brain hurts.

Your "what if" is completely true in many respects. We do all see the world differently. Everyone's perception of reality is unique. No one sees the world exactly as you do. We are all a little different and all a little bit the same with many variations in between. And our own brains are more advanced than we realize and we do modify our reactions to interact with others. And we each possess heightened sensitivity to different senses. Some people have hyper-sensitive sense of smell and so become master perfumers. Other people have hyper-developed ESP abilities and hence can foresee future events, like the prophet Nostradamus. Leonardo da Vinci had numerous highly developed senses as he was master artist, inventor and scientifically advanced beyond the knowledge of his time. So really, what you are proposing, is actually occurring as we speak. It is going on as you describe. Hence, the wars and squirmiches happening all over the world, the racial discriminations, and all manner of misunderstandings all due to one mind not perceiving the mind of another. We seemingly think with one mind and act with another. Every day, we are seen to lose our heads and our ability to think and reason as we should but often humanity exhibits instances of actions that appear to be derived from instances of "temporary insanity". So I concur with your "what if" view of the world. We are all still on a learning curve, and hopefully, one day, when all of us can attain greater universal understanding of one another, we will come to think with greater unity of thought and purpose and so learn to think with logical, balanced, tolerant, clear minds without all the fog we function with at this point in our development. We still need to do a lot of work in the intelligent use of our much under-used and utilized human brains. We've only begun to scratch the surface of this thing called the human mind. A long way to go.........

Ditto man you made my brain hurt too. What is this all about?
You need to resolve your theory? What if? The idea sounds proposterous, and incredibly confusing and without structure?
Write this in to Sci-fi they might be able to use it on a show? To add on to this, is to say, everyone does look at the world in a different way and that is a fact, No two people really see the same things alike, that is why there is so much divorce, so many wars, and so many starving people.

What if we are actually the souls in heaven waiting to be born and what we perceive to be the souls in heaven are actually living the real life? And what if everything we see, hear, feel, do, say or anything else is actually just the electrical impulses in our brains and that we are only specs floating in the unknown?

We do all percieve differently...to an extent. I don't think that senses are different, just lower or higher. If they were, then there would be no general consensus on beauty. Nothing could be popular, because of the radically different perceptions.

well, if every one person saw the world in a way different than another, there would be a huge lack of communication and/or language. I'd say, we would still be in the stone ages.
