I would hold off on the meeting. I would do it as you are led by the holy ghost. Pray about it so that when the time comes God can speak through you. The scripture you really need is Roms 10:9-10. If they are saved and confess than great. Than the next thing is to get them in a church to grow and learn. Our job is to plant the seeds and let God tend to it. Your best bet is to as the Word says believe all things. If they say they believe than you have to believe the words from them. After that just pray that men and women of God will surround them and befriend them so that they can see the Christ in them. As for you you just be led by God. We must be like lambs but also like wolves. We want to be innocent but also wise. Showing them revelation stuff is a sure fire way to scare them. For babes in Christ I would start with the Gospels, Psalms and Proverbs. Give them principals and foundations first. Taking them to revelation and fiery lakes and end times might be something you may want to reconsider. Hope that helps. Be blessed.

Buddism doesn't contain the nasty elements of religion, like Hell. It's a very peaceful religion considering it's holy scriptures are NOT filled with God helping armies defeat other armies, and genocide, etc. So, your person could be a Buddist. Hinduism is also a peaceful religion. It doesn't have Jesus, but it has many many Gods, so since you wrote "God" we can leave out Hindu. Islam fits your bill. It has many similarities to Christianity, since it "evolved" out of that religion, so this person could be a Muslim and worshiping God named Allah. They don't have demons that are all evil as in christianity, but they do believe in them. Called Jinn, they co-exist with humans Judasim gets close. They don't believe in Jesus, but they do believe in Demons, since they are mentioned in the old testament (Leviticus 17:7). So, a Jew is probably not what you would be. This person could certainly be a Sikh. Sikhs believe in only one god and Sikhs believe that human beings spend their time in a cycle of birth, life, and rebirth. Their 3 mottos are 1. Keeping God in mind. 2 Working honestly, and 3. Giving to charity. They don;t have any belief in demons like Christian demons, while some types of Sikh believe in ghosts, others do not. Another option is Bahá'í. Bahá'í believes that all religions have the same spiritual foundation, despite their apparent differences. So they believe in only one God, and accept all the prophets, including Jesus and all and any others. They assume God is too great to be known by any one human mind. Well, there is a short list of some religions that fit the bill. Someone that does believe in one God, but thinks that God doesn't follow everyone and cares what everyone is doing is known as a DEIST. You may or may not consider yourself a deist if you think god cares about what you do with your sex life, or how often you worship him. Someone believes God follows all the rules of the bible is a theist, and a non-believer an Atheist. Hope that helps. Good luck.

If you are so compelled to call a meeting, make sure they all know what it's about before they show up. Ask them if they would like to get together with some other people and discuss The Rapture as a topic of DISCUSSION, and not like you're trying to convert them or preach to them.

One thing that a lot of highly spiritual people have to face and endure is having a strong conviction and the sad, empty feeling that their families are not as spiritual as they should be.

You show a lot of love within your faith and for your friends and family but sometimes (it's even in the scriptures), you have to just simply love them all the same (if not more) and pray for them. People get overly sensitive if they feel someone is telling them they're doing wrong. If you call that meeting, carefully execute the discussion and keep close awareness on how you put things so no one gets offended.

Please remember that we all feel "God" on different levels and the passion you have for the word of Christ may have escaped a few of your loved ones on the level that you feel that personal relationship with your savior and creator.

I would make one attempt to do this...or even talk heart to heart with each of them individually. You're right in not wanting to come off as pushy...you can always try again several months or a year from now but be aware that although your family will always be your family, your friends might persecute you and label you a fanatic as unfortunate as it is.

You are to be commended and praised for your strong convictions and faith. One could even say that if you can't get the message across in the way you suggested, you definitely have something to pray about and your faith dictates that everything will pan out just fine.

Being a pagan nature worshipper myself, I tend to withdraw into the community of like-minded people and would never dare try to convince anyone to believe like I do if I know they're of a different faith, but it sounds like your friends are Christian oriented and they shouldn't have a hard time listening to your concerns.

Just let them know how important this is to you that they find God just as you have and understand the fears you have...if they're true Christians, they'll listen to you with compassion and talk to you about it.

If they criticize you, they are rainy day Christians that need to get back in touch with their faith...because if they don't hold every word of the scripture sacred, they aren't real Christians.

Good luck...keep praying and everything will be just fine.

Invite them to church. If they are searching, the Holy Ghost will move on them and they will respond. You have to use a lot of wisdom. I see what your saying about it all coming down to the end cause i believe that way too. Have you seen www.endtime.com? It covers just about everything in detail. Maybe say hey if found a neat website i want to show you, show them and that will start a conversation. There is also dvds and stuff on there you can get and show people.

Let it go honey. People don't want to hear that. Besides, the Bible did say no man shall know the minute nor the hour and this stuff has been predicted over all the centuries over and over again. You won't convince you friends and family, they will resent being preached at. Make your peace with what you have to make peace with and let them find their own way. But your heart is in the right place and I commend you for that. Rg

Hey I'm Christian too, but a lot of people will believe what they want to believe. That is great that you are wanting to put a meeting together. But I mean ask yourself this. If you were a different religion than what you are, and someone invited you to a meeting, would that be quite rude for them to do that knowing that you aren't their religion?

You are taking the scripture as fact - Why? Probably because that was how you were raised, or because you have blind faith. Not because of any factual evidence. Just encourage your friends to follow the golden rule, and spend less of your own time trying to convert people, and more volunteering for charities, helping people, etc. To summarize - talk and convert less, DO more.

No do not have a meeting!! My whole family is in a huge fight because of faith and religion. You can not push people with that. If you ask for a meeting they may get upset or offended with you. You need to accept that not everyone is going to like to hear what you have to say.You can ask them if they would like to talk about it and if they don't its okay. All you can do is pray for them.
