Hi there, me and my husband will eventually start a family. We are thinking about buying a new car/vehicle cause what he have now is a truck (only good for 2 person). I am not driving yet but eventually I am...Can anyone recommend a good car or any vehicle that is good for a family of 3 (or maybe 4, who knows?) based on their experienced using or having it as there transportation? Thank you.

I had a 2004 Dodge Neon... Never any problems... They run great... costs about 30 to fill up and gets around 35 miles to the gallon.. Very reliable!! Great Car and great price.... We paid $13,695 for ours........ it has a 12 gallon tank, so figure that with gas prices and there you go!!!!

Believe it or not I can get all of those into a 1995 Nissan Altima Not that you'd want such an old car, but the idea is don't discount smaller sedans! Take all the seats with you when you shop for cars. The way gas prices are going you do not want to get any bigger a vehicle than you need! My son is 3 and a half but over 3 feet tall and over 36 pounds so he can use a booster seat. His twin sister still needs a regular car seat and sometimes we take a neighbor's child in her booster seat or our other car seat. If one child is in a booster seat it will work.

You should be fine with any Honda or Toyota...they make great cars, US cars just plain suck...trust me. I own both a Honda and a Toyota and have little to no problems, with my US cars...that's a different story. For Honda, I'd go with the Accord or the new Civic, I like the Si (the sport version), but that's just me. For Toyota, the Camry is a great value. They even make it in the hybrid, if that's your thing...Also, if you don't mind spending the money, the best thing out there as a "family car" right now is the Lexas LS. Who doesn't need a car that parallel parks by itself?

I have an '06 Honda Accord...4 doors. It's perfect. It is very safe, it has great safety ratings, it's comfortable and it has great resale value.

Whatever you choose, I would make sure it has 4 doors...you DO NOT want to try and grab a car seat out of a coupe.

I have two kids and a full size car and I dont think its big enough, I would go with a mini van. you will always have plenty of room if you plan on having more than one child. Grand caravans are great.

I think Honda Accords are wonderful. I'm pretty sure they have the highest safety rating, and they are 4-door.
