I can't control the pointer with my mouse. It is running haywire around the computer screen. It is the laser kind.

What kind of surface are you using to run it, if you are doing it on an uneven surface it will act crazy, try a smooth even surface, that might help.

You could go to control panel and click on mouse and go to pointer options and under motion change the pointer speed. Then test it.

Oh yeah and just to mention, I love the fact that you used the word haywire. I love that word!

..ive never heard that before. I'd have to say unplug it. You can live without a mouse for about a day since you can use commands on the keyboard. It might be a pain. I hear Logitech has some good ones. Also check the sensitivity levels.

if you spillled something wet and it is touching it clean it up dont use lasers over Windex..

Clean alll fuzzies out.
