When it comes to medications that contain narcotics (codeine) it is never a good idea to take more than the reccommended dosage. Taking too much codeine can cause breathing problems and taking too much tylenol can cause liver problems. It would be best if you talk to your doctor and tell him or her what is going on. Your doctor should be able to prescribe you something else or give you some suggestions. Good Luck!

I wouldn't take Tylenol 3 if you are pregnant. It contains codeine, which is an opiate. Drink lots of water, natural fruit juices, especially orange. If you must, take an Excedrin Migraine. They are very effective and contain no narcotics. Try to sleep as much as possible. Perhaps a warm bath. Relax. Relax. Relax.

I don't think you should be taking more than recommended...ESPECIALLY b/c you're pregnant.Definately don't think it would be healthy for the baby.I'm a migraine sufferer also and I was prescribed Fiorinol w/ codeine for when the pain gets bad...it helps for me,but you need to talk to your doctor about what you can take that would not be harmful to your baby.

Call the doctor back. I had to go to a massage therapist during my pregnancy for my migraines.

you should take the medicine how it is prescribed. Otherwise you are putting your baby at risk for problems.
